WeeBeeUniques: Review & Giveaway

**CONTEST CLOSED** Julie is a mother of three who lives with her husband of 25 years and their 15-Year-old.  Her other two children are all grown and living on their own.  She opened her Etsy shop, Wee Bee Uniques shortly after being diagnosed with nerve and multi organ sarcoidosis. Unable to keep working away from home, she turned to her love of yarn and developed it into a small business.

Her Grandmother taught her the art of crochet and hand sewing at only 6 years of age and never learned to follow a pattern until she opened her shop on Etsy.  With many requests for her pattern designs, she finally taught herself to read and write them--which is amazing to me as anything I've ever tried to crochet looks like a curled up potholder!   :)

Says Julie, "My designs are inspired by everyday life. I especially enjoy designing bright and cheerful everyday useful items. If we’re going to use them why not make them fun!"  She sure does deliver -- check out her crocheted banana sack, and this adorable baby earflap hat and mitten set!

My daughter, Emma is almost 9 months old and having a rough time with teething.  She received this set of Colors and Shapes Cotton Teethers to try and I love them.  For one thing, I don't have to worry about her biting on some teething ring that was made in china and may or may not contain lead.  Simply dampen one of the shapes and place in the freezer and any teething baby can chomp to their heart's content!  They're also great for teaching colors and shapes and they come in a cute pouch, perfect as a shower gift!
