Steph was doing Graphic Design work for a prestigious cosmetic company when she decided to change her career path; She went back to school and got her master's degree in elementary education just last year. Her shop, CozyGirlDesigns is full of the coolest wearable crochet pieces like scarves, hats, cowls and other accessories.

When I asked her when she started the art of crochet, Steph told me, "I started crocheting about 2 years ago when a coworker found out I wanted to learn how to knit. She gave me a beautiful knitting set and an instructional knitting book as my secret santa gift. With the help of the book I taught myself how to crochet, and I was hooked :) I made blankets, scarves, shawls, hats, doggie sweaters, baby blankets, and cowls for my friends and family. I really love to come up with my own patterns and to try them out."

Who would have though a secret santa gift could change your path??? Her two favorites available in her shop are the Cookie Dough Circle Scarf and the Wildberry Cowl. I love that deep purple color. Steph has other creative hobbies including drawing, painting, and photography.

Steph sent me the Midnight Moon Cowl for this review. In a word, perfect! I've always loved scarves, but with the baby it can be hard to keep them on and having the ends dangle about. I haven't even tried to wear one yet this fall. Now I don't have to. The cowl covers just the neck with nothing to wrap or tie. Just button it and you're on your way! You can create so many looks with this. I had a lot of fun playing with the different looks and I've included a few photos so that you can see.
