Affordable Scarves - Review & Giveaway (2 winners!)

Scarves are a favorite accessory of mine.  Mainly because I'm always cold, but also because I love the accent they provide to my wardrobe.  They're not only great for wearing outdoors this season, but I also wear one when I'm a little chilly indoors.  In the fall when the when the air is just starting to get chilly, I wear only a scarf and no jacket.  Somehow they manage to warm me right up without the bulk of a heavy sweater or coat.  With Affordable Scarves, I can afford to buy many different styles and colors to fuel my scarf fetish!

The Hannah Super Scarf that Affordable Scarves sent me is aptly named.  How else would you describe a scarf that can be worn draped over your shoulders, around your neck or on your head?  I am also in love with the circular scarves, and almost requested one of those but the Hannah scarf won out because it's so versatile.  It is also super soft and warm.  I wore the Hannah scarf to my trip to Manhattan yesterday and am donning it right now as I type.  It looks grea with my winter coat, but I cannot wait to wear it with a formal dress as a wrap.  To that end, would somebody please plan a wedding?

Like most items on the Affordable Scarves website, the Hannah Scarf comes in a variety of colors:  Purple (my choice), Dark Grey, Red, Black and Brown.  It measures 72"x46" and has a 4-inch fringe.  The fringe always entertains my little one!  The 100% acrylic material is so soft.  It's impossible to not feel cozy wearing this - it feels as like cashmere.


The site also offers several different item views to give you a clearer picture of what you're shopping for, which is really nice.  I especially like the manequin shots which help me grasp the size and bulk of the scarf to help you make a more informed decision.  There's nothing worse than buying something and not receiving what you expected - which has happened to me many times when shopping online.
