If I had a nickel for every toy I bought my daughter that turned out to be junk, I'd be a rich woman. Wouldn't it be nice if a toy company would stand by each and every product they make? Thankfully there is one, and it's called Discovery Toys. All Discovery Toys are backed by an unconditional money-back guarantee!
Discovery Toys are educational by design and fun by nature. I absolutely love the Key Benefits section that appears below each toy's page on the Discovery Toys website, where you're provided with a summary of what the toy has to offer, from motor skills to thinking skills and everything in between. Parents can rest easy knowing that this company manufactures toys that meet U.S. and Canadian safety standards.
Until I stumbled upon consultant Rosalinda Vargas's Discovery Toys page, I hadn't realized that the company offers a home-based business for moms. Normally the products from these types of businesses are extremely high in price, but Discover Toys are very affordable.
Emma received the Giant Pegboard to play with an learn from. The key benefits of this toy include:
- Identify, sort, and match colors & shapes;
- Explore positional concepts; next to; on top of; beneath; near; row; column; diagonal; opposite;
- Strengthen counting skills;
- Practice fine motor dexterity;
- Demonstrate addition, subtraction, multiplication and graphing;
- Develop beginning understanding of geometric shapes, angles, and area;
- Pattern play sharpens thinking skills and problem solving.
At this point in her toddlerhood, Emma's not quite at that stage of stacking and building, but she sure does love to demolish the structures I build for her! After all, that's the best part of the process, right?
The Giant Pegboard is an award-winning toy and is so bright and colorful. It comes with 25 pegs and a 10" square board to build upon. I love that it will help me teach my daughter all about shapes, colors and stacking.
BUY IT! Now through March 31st, 2010 Discovery Toys will match all consumer donations. I love shopping with companies that support charities, don't you?
WIN IT! One lucky reader will receive a Giant Pegboard for their child.

ReplyDeleteKey benefits: stacking and understanding if things will fit inside each other for the measure up set and learning to count for the Busy Pets game? Not quite sure what exactly you mean here.
