GlassesUSA - Review

My husband was lucky enough to be born with perfect vision, unlike myself.  I am as blind as they come.  And I'm hoping with all of my might that Emma takes after her Daddy in this respect.  Even though he does not need spectacles, hubby thinks that they make a man look spectacularly smarter (sorry-I couldn't resist).

Growing up, having to wear glasses was kind of a bummer.  Being far-sided, I only needed them to see the chalkboard in school.  I was never really teased about my four eyes, but I still always wanted to have perfect vision, to be free from this impairment.

Today, people's views on eyeglasses have changed completely.  It has become fashionable to don eyeglasses, whether they're needed or not.  I'm quite amused at the fact that the thick black frames that my father used to wear in the 60's-because he didn't have much of a choice-are one of the most sought-after styles in eyewear these days.

When my husband chose the Fire black eyeglass frames, he wasn't trying to make a fashion statement.  It was the looking-smarter factor he was going after.  He's hoping to convince the job interviewers of his intelligence-by-eyewear, at least.

GlassesUSA is a full-service online retailer of beautiful eyeglasses at discount prices, whether you really need them or if you just want to look cool!  Shoppers can search by gender, style, material, lens type and price.  What's absolutely wonderful is the 100% satisfaction guarantee they offer.  If you have any reason not to love your new glasses, GlassesUSA will allow you to return or exchange-no questions asked.  You don't have that option with most brick-and-mortar retail stores, so this is a really great bonus.

The Fire eyeglasses are a nice classic frame, and they arrived with a beautiful protective hard case and non-scratch cleaning cloth.   This was my first positive experience with an online prescription eyeglasses retailer, and I'm extremely pleased.

BUY IT!  GlassesUSA offers free shipping on orders over $99.00!

No compensation was received for this review post.  GlassesUSA sent us the Fire eyeglasses to evaluate, and I have offered my honest opinion above.  Yours may differ.

Those glasses look just like the ones my hubby wears. :)
