Get Lost? Not with the Palm Pre Plus (P5)

Yet another favorite of the Verizon Palm Pre Plus is the google maps feature.  Very rarely do I have a need for turn-by-turn directions, which you can also do with this smart phone.  Sometimes a girl just needs to look at a map. 

I don't travel far and wide, but occasionally I do go new places, like when Emma and I attend a playdate or a birthday party.  So many times we've found ourselves already on our way when we realized the directions were still laying on the kitchen counter.

With the google maps feature you can choose between street map view or select the satellite image, powered by the one and only google earth.  If you decide you do need directions, they're available with just a tap away from your map. 

What about traffic?  While viewing your google map, just tap the traffic button and the information is indicated by red and green lines.  It's really liberating not having to print directions in advance and just saves from last minute frustration so you won't arrive at the party all disheveled.
