Kinderkitchen Tools by Kuhn Rikon - Review

At 14 months, my daughter is already curious about what I do in the kitchen.  She wants to know exactly what I'm working on and wants to participate when I prepare meals.   In a few more months, she'll actually be able to assist thanks to Kinderkitchen by Kuhn Rikon.

Kuhn Rikon is the #1 Swiss brand of cookware and cooking tools, and they have a line made especially for kids called Kinderkitchen.  The Dog Knife is a super cute utencil that children can use to cut soft foods.  It has a cute little rubber tail and the ears serve as finger guards.  The carbon steel area is marked with an eye and a nose to make the dog complete.

Dog Knife With Teeth has the same great features but the knife is serrated, so it will cut slightly firmer foods like a ripe pear.  I put a lot of pressue on my finger with both of these knives and did not even get a paper cut.

The knives are recommended for children age 3 and up.

BUY IT!  These knives are $10.00 a piece and would make for a fun gift for the aspiring little cook in your life.

No compensation was received for this review post.  I received the Kinderkitchen knives to facilitate my honest opinion.  Yours may differ.

  1. How cute! We bought our kids some of the children's Pampered Chef knives and they love them! I'll have to check these out too. Thanks! :)
