GelPro Anti-Fatigue Floor Mats (Review)

The kitchen is the hub of our house.  It's where I spend most of my day whether I'm eating a meal, cooking for my daughter, organizing the clutter or cleaning the counters.  Let's also not forget about the dishes.  I do all of this work in my bare feet because we try not wear our shoes inside, and at the end of the day my tootsies are in bad shape.
After trying a GelPro mat, I wish I could cover the entire kitchen floor with it.  It's a dream come true for me because it serves so many purposes.  First, let's talk about comfort.  The gel cushioning in this mat is similar to the gel cover you might have on your bicycle seat.  It is so completely comfortable to stand on while I wash and dry a sink full of dishes.  It's luxurious, even.  If you have foot and back pain like I do, these mats will provide relief.

The fabric is durable and wipe-able which makes it perfectly suitable for any kitchen or bath areas, anywhere for that matter.  What I love about the Flora fabric is that it doesn't look commercial.  The floral print is delicate and pretty, but it's still tough and will withstand abuse while looking beautiful.  I feel like I can place this mat anywhere, and I'm considering getting a few more for the kitchen and even for my foyer.  I chose the Antique Redwood Gel Mat.  It matches my wood floors perfectly, all but disappearing into the floor.  But when you step foot onto this mat there's no mistaking it for the hard, uncomfortable flooring!

The mat stays securely in place unlike the other floor mat I'd been using. What's even more exciting is that GelPro also offers matching placemats.  How neat is that?  The mats range in price anywhere from $70-$250 and more for designer sizes.  It's more than you'll pay for an everyday floor mat, but GelPro mats are anything but average.  You definitely get what you pay for in this instance.

No compensation was received for this post, however  I did receive the product discussed free of charge in order to facilitate my review.  All of the opinions above are 100% my own.
