Olive Juice (Review)

olivejuice2 When we found out the baby I’d been growing in my belly was girl, I was beyond excited.  Immediately after the ultrasound, I hit a children’s clothing store and snapped up a few cutesy dresses before returning to work (Don’t tell my boss).  At first I settled for the clothing sold in chain stores.  The clothes are darling, but every now and then I want to buy a dress or an outfit that’s a little different.  Beautiful instead of cutesy, like the clothing by Olive Juice Kids

Their clothing is sophisticated and preppy, and heck—if some of their items came in women’s sizes I’d clothe myself in them!  The Summer 2010 Collection at Olive Juice Kids is comprised of comfortable, easy to wear summer wardrobe for boys and girls.  Comfort comes first for us, and when it’s also stylish, we call that a winner.

003 The item we received came beautifully packaged in a cotton drawstring pouch.  I’m all about great packaging and am definitely one consumer that appreciates what it adds to the shopping experience.  Click to see it larger.

010 Emma is modeling (she looks like a model with her pose, right?) the Nautical & Noble Lila Pinafore dress from the Summer 2010 Collection.  It’s available in several different fabrics, but the dress she received is a lightweight denim.  She looks so pretty and cool wearing it.  It did not come with the bloomers you typically get with toddler dresses, but we’ll use a pair that came with another dress in her closet when we need to.  This dress would also make a great cover-up on a day at the beach, especially with the way it just ties over the shoulder.

The Lila Pinafore dress retails for $52.00 and is available at Olive Juice Kids.  The quality, comfort and originality of the dress is definitely worth the splurge.

No compensation was received for this post, but I did receive the product discussed free of charge in order to facilitate my review.  All of the opinions above are 100% my own.
