CDN Wireless Probe Thermometer And Timer (Review)

wt1-big One of the many wonderful things about summertime is being able to cook meals on the grill.  Grilling saves me from having to wipe down the kitchen and scrub pots and pans.  Not to mention the fact that grilled foods are much healthier.  But when I send dear husband out to grill the strip steaks I lovingly marinated for over 24 hours, they usually come back to me in pieces or with slits down the middle.  It’s a pet peeve of mine.  I realize he’s worried that the meat might be undercooked, but there are other ways to check without letting all of the best juices drain out by slicing it while it’s cooking.  It ruins the meal, in my opinion.  By using the handy CDN Wireless Probe Thermometer And Timer this won’t happen again.  I hope.

024 Today, I grilled pork chops on the barbie.  It was extremely easy to prepare.  I rubbed Montreal chicken seasoning onto both sides of my chops and then added some extra-virgin olive oil to the freezer bag and sealed it.  The chops marinated for a few hours until I was ready to grill.  Our grill is terrible and we desperately need an upgrade, but I tried my best to set it at the lowest possible heat setting to avoid burning them.  But I figured that if I took over the role of grilling extraordinaire, half the battle was already won.  Plus, I had a neat new cooking gadget in hand.

The CDN Wireless Probe Thermometer And Timer couldn’t have been easier to use.  And user-friendly too. It gave me a lightning fast reading, far quicker than any traditional meat thermometer has offered.

I was able to check the meat for doneness using the probe’s high heat sensor cable and lightweight base station.  The helpful timer does more than track minutes.  It also has pre-programmed and programmable meat/taste/and memory modes based on USDA safe cooking guide and will alert you when target temperature or set time is reached.  Nifty, right?  All of the tools are right there to make your life easier.  All of this for less than $26.00.

This device has many great features that I have not yet begun to explore, making this an essential tool to use in the kitchen, whether it’s indoors or out in the open air.  I’m looking forward to making healthier, well-cooked meals for my family this summer and throughout the year.

No compensation was received for this post, but I did receive the product discussed free of charge in order to facilitate my review.  All of the opinions above are 100% my own.
