There should be another name for household animals. The word 'pet', doesn't suffice really, and I think most pet parents would agree that their animals are more a member of the family than something you take ownership of. I grew up having dogs in the family. You can see them all here. In my own home, we currently have cats but I know that will be adopting another dog at some point. In my opinion, all children should have an opportunity to grow up with a dog. When we do add another furry friend to our, family, I'll want to spoil her with nutritious, yummy food from Proportions.
Proportions makes a custom-balanced, human quality food for dogs. I know what you're thinking, and no, I did not try out the dog food for this review!
We have two dogs in our extended family, Bear and Hannah. They were the testers for this review.
The Proportions food comes in three pouches. You get:
- Hearty Chicken Stew made with hand-carved, antibiotic and hormone free chicken.
- Harvest Mix of gently dehydrated fruits and vegetables with enzymes for optimal digestion.
- A reduced portion of premium quality holistic Crunchy Blend dry kibble from Wellness, Newman’s Own or LiveSmart.
A balanced, gourmet meal is produced when you mix the three pouches, and while the spoiled pooches above couldn't tell me what they thought verbally, we have visual confirmation that they enjoyed it. In the form of squeaky clean bowls!
GIVEAWAY! One reader will receive a free Proportions trial, two meals for your dog!
