I dream of Disney: What’s your ultimate vacation?

Sponsored By Cheerios® is giving you the chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, your ultimate family vacation. As part of a paid promotion for their “Do What You Love” Sweepstakes, Cheerios® is sponsoring my post today about what my ultimate family vacation would be. Read mine, Enter the Sweepstakes for a chance to actually win your own fantasy family trip or one of a bunch of other great prizes.

Vacation.  What in the world is that?  Technically, my husband and I have never gone away on an actual vacation—aside from our honeymoon.  We’ve taken long weekend trips here and there but sadly, nothing of the poolside Piña Colada variety.  I’m almost ashamed to admit it.  If I was a flyer, we might have made it a priority to plan a special getaway every year.  It’s been 5 years since I’ve flown anywhere, and I’m starting to get the traveling bug again.  Sounds about right.

Of course funds are also a factor.  So where would I go when the sky is my limit?  Well, I could do with a spa getaway in the Caribbean or a bike tour of Tuscany, but those days are over.  At least for now.  Now we’re a family of three, and so like any other loving mom, I dream of Disney.

GrandFl

We’d stay at the Grand Floridian, and maybe even a night our two at Cinderella’s Castle Suite.  Hey, I did say “dream”, ok?  My husband and I would look on as Emma takes in the sites and scenes that Magic Kingdom has to offer.  We’d relive our own childhoods as we experience breakfast with the characters , the nightly fireworks shows all of the fun rides and attractions we could squeeze into each day.

Can you really call it a vacation though, when you’ve got young children in tow?  You can, if you bring along a sitter.  That’s just what we’d do.  We’d bring along a family member or a sitter so that my husband and I could have a few date nights.

Maybe somewhere in there I could have that Piña Colada in Epcot’s version of Mexico, and possibly a massage by Prince Charming?  Close enough.

Don't forget to enter the “Do What You Love” Sweepstakes, for a chance to win your own ultimate family vacation. I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do.

  2. Oh, how I love Disney! Everything about it is magical. I think I'd have to choose there too. Although, I'd be ordering a huge margarita in Mexico at Epcot and then dining in Japan. YUM! Magic Kingdom is definitely my favorite park there.

  3. I'd love to do a huge Disney World trip, we are so spoiled to live near Disneyland but we've never been to Disney World!
