Wisk saves the game with a carb stain interception!

wisk_logo_thumb[1]_thumb[1]For our last science experiment using the new Wisk® with Stain Spectrum™ Technology, Emma and I went up against the Protein stain, which includes marks left by grass, eggs and baby formula.  This week in the Wisk laundry lab, we tackled a common game day catastrophe – the dreaded ketchup stain.  Ketchup, just like chocolate milk, syrup and barbeque sauce falls within the Carbohydrate stain group.

Today we put on our painting hats and got to work, so that we could simulate a game day disaster.

Step 1:   Get out the basting brush and make your mark on that brand new bright WHITE tee – using ketchup!

I swear I felt real pain while doing this.  Ouch!

Step 2:  Wipe off excess ketchup, and pretreat stain using the new Wisk® with Stain Spectrum™ Technology, scrubbing it in real well.

Step 3:  After pretreating for 5 minutes, hand wash under lukewarm water until suds are gone.

TOUCHDOWN!!!

Wisk intercepted that stain and saved game day!  I didn’t think it would work, but it did.  Plus, I would never dream of hand washing a garment this badly stained.  For a white shirt using my old detergent I would have pretreated it overnight and then added bleach to my washer, and it probably wouldn’t have come out even after all of that.

Pretty amazing, right?  When you’re off tailgating, you can wear your favorite jersey proudly, with no fear of the carbohydrate stain.  Eat all of the burgers you want!   I’ll bet you want to try it, don’t you?

Wisk is available in August at major retailers nationwide, such as Walmart, Target and Kroger.  The Suggested Retail Price is $5.99 for 50 fl oz. bottles which cleans 32 loads.  Make sure you print out this coupon for $1.00 off.

Do you have a laundry question?  On their Facebook page, Wisk has an Ask Wisk® tab.  You can also follow Wisk® on twitter.

Disclosure: I have written this post as part of a sponsored campaign for Wisk detergent.  All of the opinions stated above are my own.
