The cakes have been ordered, I bought all of the food, and I cleared the decks. We're having Emma's very first party tomorrow. Or so I thought. We're supposed to be hammered with winter weather this weekend.Every single time we have an event, the weather does not cooperate. The day of our wedding, there was a nor'easter. We planned a baby shower on my patio, it rained. When barbeques were scheduled, you guessed it - rain.
There are so many varied predictions, from 1"-3" to 10"-20". Holy, moly! I'm waiting until noon to decide what to do. At this point, the cakes have probably been made anyway. I love a good snowstorm as much as anyone, but not this weekend!
Come on, Old Man Winter, cut us a break! Sigh.
oh no.. I hope you don't live by me! I am hoping for snow!! They are saying 3-6 inches here in the Virginia beach area :) yay!
ReplyDeleteAww that's sad that you cancelled the party. Our weather man now is saying we are getting 1-3 inches lol. But the wind is going to be CRAZY! :(
