My Baaack!
What I'd like to know is, when did my body get so out of wack? My back is killing me right now. Other than my back issues, my knees and wrists crack, my ears ring, my heart palpitates, flashes and floaters appear in my nearly blind eyes, and I have severe allergies all-year-long. I know. I'm a mess. With all of my ailments, my husband likes to say that I was made from leftover parts! Hmm...maybe I am an experiment of sorts.
But my baaack! As Ispeak type, I'm using my battery pack as a heating pad. I'm not sure why it hurts so much. It could be the terrible mattress I've been sleeping on, or the fact that my 1-year-old weighs a whopping 24 pounds, or even today's work putting away all of the Christmas decorations and organizing my basement. Or, maybe it's all this blogging I've been doing.

I feel for you...I got up from the couch/computer and my legs had fallen asleep-- I sat there so long...I blame blogging! :)
ReplyDeleteouch! we're getting old my friend... where did our youth go?
ReplyDeleteI hope it feels better soon! Sometimes I do find myself hunched over like in your picture. That's not good! You've been entirely too productive, me thinks. Go lay on the couch and do nothing. :)
ReplyDeleteI think it happened when we had kids! i feel the same way when i had my kids i had a broken tail bone a moved disc all thanks to back labor. i cant possibly sit for more then 10 mins. so it cant be blogging heehee hope you feel better soon and dont end up in therapy 3xs a week like me! Happy friday! btw grabbing your button for my page!
ReplyDeleteI always blamed mine on fibromyalgia. Wrong!! I have a partially broken back, allowing my spine to slip forward. A physical checkup with an empathetic Dr. Maybe x-rays or MRI to check your spine. Lots of genetic back problems out there.
ReplyDeletehmmm...did I write this???
ReplyDeleteMy back aches frequently too - I use a heating pad on it almost nightly, especially when sitting and man it feels GOOD. Stretching is really helpful-make sure to stretch out, I do so while I'm cooking or getting ready for work.
I also have wrists that make me consider self-amputation.
And my knees ache when I'm walk (probably because I'm carrying too much weight).
And I have TMJ and the muscle across my left shoulder is always taut and painful.
Aside from that, I'm totally fine!
Hey chickie!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope it feels better soon and I know what you mean about the holidays and the craziness.
So glad to see you found me again! And I have no idea about that Martha Stweart event, but would live the details if there is still time! Tweet me or email me:
