“Summer of Smiles,” is a campaign thought up by 1-800-Flowers as a way to encourage everyone to brighten someone’s day with thoughtful gifts and flowers. I knew this was a mission I wanted to take part in when they asked for my help in spreading the word.
Everyone loves to receive flowers, and everyone deserves to have them displayed beautifully in their home. There are so many gorgeous options available at 1-800-FLOWERS to let someone know you are thinking of them. Whether the occasion is happy or sad, flowers are always the answer, and sending smiles is what they do.
I rarely ever get flowers sent to me, so yesterday 1-800-flowers.com sent me a smile. A big one. The Summer Dunes bouquet was delivered right to my doorstep by a florist in my town.
Roses, daisy poms, button poms and delphinium come together to celebrate the wild beauty of Summer. A genuine seashell adds seasonal flair while wild bear grass climbs, bringing to mind sand dunes blown by ocean breezes.
The bouquet I received looks a little different from the one pictured online, and I like mine better! For example, in the one shown online there is a seashell on the front of the vase, but mine is filled inside with different types of seashells. So beautiful and creative!
It’s a gorgeous bouquet and in my opinion, the small bouquet is the ideal size. Its perfume is filling my kitchen. Isn’t that the best?
