Hasbro Furreal Friends Snuggimals (Review & Giveaway)

Want a cute doggy for your children, but don’t want to deal with the of expense, walks and the mess?  I have just the thing for you.  FUR-real!  The Furreal Friends Snuggimals Puppy is an adorable toy puppy (double entendre – it’s both an actual toy and a small puppy), that wags his tail and bobs his head when you pet (really press) his back.  There are twelve different breeds to choose from, but we received the Long Bassett Hound. 

This little doggie is the perfect size for traveling – it fits everywhere!  The fur is snuggly soft, hence the name ‘Snuggimals’.  It’s powered by one AA battery to keep him in motion.  We keep ours in the car and Emma holds him in her lap.  When she activates his tail she holds it down so it’s only a matter of time before she breaks it!  Furreal Friends Snuggimals are very reasonably priced at $7.95.  That’s the least expensive adoption fee I've ever heard of!

Noodle Head Travel Buddies (Review & Giveaway)

We had a very busy weekend.  Saturday we visited a children's museum, and on Sunday we hit the boardwalk and aquarium.  It was a ton of fun, but exhausting for all of us.  When our days our packed full with activities and involve hour-long car rides, that means naptime will occur en route.  The only problem we have with that is when Emma's head hangs down in front of her.  "That can't be comfortable," is the usual exchange between my husband and I.  It's hard to really know when your child can't tell you she has a neck pain.

The common travel pillows are rather plain and boring.  Even the ones made for children.  The clever people at Noodle Head changed all of that.  They make the most adorable Travel Buddies to keep sleeping heads comfortable, to be used by kids 18 months of age and up.  There are 16 cute animals to choose from!

At 19 months, my daughter doesn't necessarily have a "favorite" type of animal picked out yet, but I was pleased to see that Noodle Head had sent us the Giraffe.  Of all of the animals, this one is my favorite!

I was really impressed with the soft material.  It feels like one of those expensive teddy bears with a silk-like nature to the material.  But don't let my description scare you, these are not silk and can be machine-washed.  That's a must if you have a messy toddler like mine!

The perfect companion for your travel buddy is the bag buddy.  We were sent the giraffe bag buddy to match the neck pillow.  Your child can write his or her name on the animal's tummy, but the cute animal itself will be the main identifier.
